ABOUT THE GRYPHON

The Gryphon Cafe has been a long standing coffee hub in the heart of Wayne, PA. Opened by Richard and Colin Mattis with the vision of creating a gathering place for our town.

 

Since then we have expanded, opened second and third locations in downtown West Chester, PA and Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

We seek to nourish our community with outstanding coffee and healthful food in a space that encourages people to linger and mingle.

Knowing that our impact stretches beyond those we serve, we strive always to source ethically, promote a sustainable food network, and reduce our negative environmental impact.

We get it.  Making and serving excellent coffee in a convivial atmosphere is the Gryphon Cafe's heart and soul.
